Disable Blue Ticks on Whatsapp

Semenjak Whatsapp melancarkan kewujudan Blue Ticks pada mesej yang telah dibaca oleh si penerima, ada pro n cons nya kan ? Benda ni nampak macam kecik je ni. Ape lah sangat setakat Blue Ticks tu. Hey ada manusia yang boleh bergaduh besar hanya disebabkan spender biru tanda biru tu tau! kikiki =P  Golongan berkaseh lah terutamanya ye dok? Boleh jadi issue besar wo kalau dah blue ticks tapi tak reply. Pada hal entah kawan tu tengah ada hal ke, nak terberak ke opssss =P hahaha

The only group of people that were excited about the blue ticks were probably the ones who came up with it, and a bunch of overprotective girlfriends / boyfriends.

Guessing that you're here because your life has become a sea of "WHY NO REPLY ME AH?!", we thought we'd share this with you.

The first step is to get the latest APK file from WhatsApp:

1.Download the latest (version 2.11.444) WhatsApp apk from the official website.

2.On your Android phone, go to Settings > Security > Check Unknown sources, to enable installing apps from outside Google Play. Note that the exact path to the setting can vary depending on your device manufacturer and Android version - the important thing to note is that you enable installing apps from unknown sources.

3.Open the apk on your Android phone. This will install the latest version of the app on your device.

Once the app is installed, here's how to disable read receipts:

1.Open WhatsApp.

2.Now go to Settings > Account > Privacy.

3.Uncheck Read receipts.
